Hello, I’m Lizzie

dyslexic. artist. author. soul healer. wise woman.

I am so glad you are here….

ABOUT ME

Before 2024, Lizzie didn’t tell many people she had dyslexia. Lizzie went to an ordinary school, and she was told from a very young age that she was a bit stupid because she didn’t read and write the same as everyone else.

At age 67 I decided it was time to stand in my own truth. It was in a local bookshop I found a shelf of books written for dyslexic people. I could finally read!

It was after a converation about dyslexia, the bookshop owner, suggested to me that I could write my story.

The very next day the story of the Nightingale began to flood onto the page.

For years, I managed to hide my superpower, through asking for help and sheer tenacity.

I navigated a successful nursing career, motherhood, eventually becoming a property investor and finding love with my partner Annie.

But now the secret is out.

I hope to inspire others who process and learn differently.

That they are not alone and that they can turn the impossible into possible.

Lizzie Cantopher sits in a patterned armchair, reading a book titled 'Gift' in a room with bookshelf She is in a room with a large bookshelf filled with colorful books, decorative objects, and some artwork. The room has a cozy, personal atmosphere.

My offerings…

“You can turn the impossible into possible…the key is understanding we all consume and process information differently.”
